“People say I have an insatiable curiosity, and I believe I was an archeologist in another life. There are many treasures in the world, and I encourage children to explore, get dirty, and dig into all of life’s wonders. I was born with the writing bug, and I still have my prize story I wrote in fourth grade, “Mrs. Taylor.” Although, I put the quill, ink, and paper aside for many years to raise my children. Children are my greatest love and inspiration. One of my favorite truths is, “You can learn many things from children. I believe everyone has a story to tell, so write on!” ~ T. Detz

“Tracy Detz can take something problematic in society, and recreate it in a way that children can understand and learn from it, and I love how she does this effortlessly. A talented author that I wouldn’t hesitate to turn to whenever I needed a children’s book with feeling, and heart, as well as one with such an important lesson!” Her stories are the kind that could be read a thousand times, with the reader getting such immense joy out of it each and every time! Just absolutely delightful.” ~ Emily Quinn, UK book blogger A Quintillion Reads
